"Caught in the Headlights" #31

Postby Doctor Robo » Wed Jul 25, 2018 11:10 pm

Hey Metrobay fans! "Caught in the Headlights" #31 is now available in the NEW members gallery of MetrobayComix.com!

Ted and Gilbert are surprised to see Vivian Indeks take the stage to get a closer look at LISA and Omegabot. But will they remember that they have a job to do...?

I greatly appreciated the visual variety and human element that Vivian added to this chapter. Her posing and facial expressions were well done and they contributed a lot toward making these scenes interesting. Narratively, this latest development for our protagonists seems a little unearned, without much foreshadowing or explanation as to why things happened as they did. Perhaps it will be made clearer later in the story. That final panel has some quite ominous framing, great place to end the chapter.

Thanks! Finister does a great job posing these characters, which is an art form in its own right. He has a knack for making the inhuman models seem very much alive, which speaks to the amount of time and effort he puts into each and every page.
